Idaho Falls American Legion Baseball ... 2011

Home of Idaho Falls American Legion Baseball (IFALBB). Come and join us at Melaleuca Field.  Enjoy the best baseball in Idaho!

The American Legion is the largest veterans organization in the world, with about 3 million members -- men and women -- in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries. All members are current or former members of the U.S. Armed Forces with honorable service on active duty during periods of armed conflict.

The American Legion was founded and organized in 1919 and has touched virtually every facet of American life, fulfilling its main objective of service to the community, state and nation. The American Legion also conducts many programs designed to benefit the youth of our nation. Notable among these are: American Legion Baseball, Boys State and Boys Nation programs, the National High School Oratorical Contest, the Junior Shooting Sports Program, Scouting and American Legion School Awards Program.

A network of almost 15,000 local American Legion posts in communities coast to coast and around the world carry out the programs of the organization. Working hand-in-hand with the Legion are the almost one million members of the American Legion Auxiliary and the more than 210,000 members of the Sons of The American Legion.

The American Legion is an organization that cares about America and its youth.

American Legion baseball provides the opportunity for the players to be seen by scouts all over the country.

There are currently 5 teams in Idaho Falls: the Russets, Rangers, Royals, Bees, and Grizzlies. The Legion program is a great program for the serious baseball player.
